Payment Terms

At Tolchi, we aim to make your shopping experience seamless, secure, and transparent. These Payment Terms explain how we handle pricing, payments, refunds, invoicing, and related matters when you shop with us.

1. Pricing and Currency

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) by default and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. A complete breakdown of your total payable amount, including product price, applicable taxes, discounts, and any shipping fees, is provided at checkout before payment.

For international customers, Tolchi may display approximate prices in local currencies for reference in the future, but final billing is currently processed in INR. Currency conversion charges, if any, are determined by your card issuer or payment provider.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

Tolchi is a 100% prepaid platform, ensuring secure and hassle-free transactions. We currently accept:

  • Credit/Debit Cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, RuPay
  • Net Banking - via leading Indian banks
  • UPI Payments - through supported apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Digital Wallets - where supported by our payment gateway

For high-value purchases, EMI options are available on eligible credit cards. EMI plans, processing fees, and applicable interest rates are displayed transparently at checkout, with final terms governed by your issuing bank.

3. Payment Security

Your financial security is our priority.

  • Payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant gateways with SSL encryption to safeguard data.
  • Tolchi complies with RBI tokenization guidelines; we do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
  • For customers opting to save payment details, only secure tokens are stored, ensuring safe future transactions.
4. Order Confirmation and Invoicing

Once payment is successful, you’ll receive an order confirmation email and a GST-compliant invoice. Invoices are sent electronically to reduce paper usage, but you may request a printed copy with your shipment.

5. Refunds and Timelines

Refunds are governed by Tolchi’s Refunds & Returns Policy and comply with RBI guidelines:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used.
  • Initiation occurs within 5–7 business days after approval.
  • Settlement timelines may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
  • Refund reference numbers are shared for transparency.
6. Offers, Discounts, and Promotions

Tolchi may offer discounts and promotions from time to time.

  • Unless stated otherwise, only one promotion can be applied per order.
  • We reserve the right to revoke offers in cases of misuse, fraudulent activity, or excessive exploitation.
  • Third-party bank-led cashback and promotions are governed by the issuing bank’s terms.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact Tolchi Support before initiating chargebacks.

  • For duplicate charges, failed transactions, or unrecognized payments, we aim to resolve issues quickly.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks, falsely disputing legitimate purchases, are strictly prohibited and will be contested with supporting documentation.
  • Payment-related disputes are typically resolved within 7–10 business days.
8. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

Tolchi may introduce subscription-based services or memberships in the future.

  • Terms, billing cycles, and cancellation policies will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.
  • Payments will be processed only after explicit consent from you.
  • You will have full control to cancel recurring payments via your Tolchi account or customer support.
9. Taxes and Compliance

Tolchi adheres to GST regulations and provides GST-compliant invoices for all purchases.

For future international orders, duties, VAT, or other import taxes will be handled as per the destination country’s regulations and disclosed transparently at checkout.

All payment processing follows:

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines
  • Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023
10. Future International Payments

As Tolchi expands globally, this policy will evolve to include:

  • Multi-currency billing
  • Localized payment gateways
  • Tax-inclusive pricing for international customers
  • Cross-border refund timelines based on regional regulations

Until then, all international payments are processed in INR.
