Shipping Policy

At Tolchi, we believe that receiving a Tolchi product should feel as exceptional as owning one. Every order is prepared, packed, and shipped with the same care we put into crafting our leather goods. This Shipping Policy explains how we deliver your products, the timelines involved, and the measures we take to ensure a seamless experience from our hands to yours.

1. Shipping Coverage

Tolchi offers pan-India delivery, reaching all major cities, towns, and serviceable pin codes. We work with Shiprocket to identify the most reliable delivery partner for your location, leveraging a network of trusted couriers including Delhivery, Bluedart, DTDC, and others to ensure safe, timely, and efficient deliveries.

If your pin code is currently unserviceable, you will be notified during checkout or contacted shortly after placing your order. We do not ship to PO Boxes or restricted regions due to courier limitations.

International shipping is not active at this time. Until our global logistics are in place, all international orders are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

2. Order Processing Timelines

Each Tolchi order is handled with care and precision. Orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on business days are usually processed the same day, while those placed later, on weekends, or on public holidays are processed the following business day.

For our standard collection, we aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days of confirmation.

For personalized or custom-made products, dispatch timelines may vary and will be clearly mentioned on the respective product pages to ensure transparency.

Once dispatched, delivery timelines are:

  • Standard Delivery (Pan-India): Usually 3–7 business days, depending on location and courier serviceability.
  • Express Delivery: Not currently offered.

If there is any unexpected delay due to high order volumes, stock unavailability, or operational constraints, we will notify you immediately and provide options to continue, modify, or cancel your order with a full refund.

3. Shipping Costs

Tolchi currently offers standard shipping across India, with applicable charges displayed clearly at checkout before payment. There are no hidden fees, and we do not currently provide free shipping thresholds or expedited shipping upgrades.

4. Packaging & Unboxing Experience

At Tolchi, presentation matters as much as the product itself. Each item is thoughtfully prepared for shipment:

  • Leather goods are carefully placed inside protective dust bags.
  • Products are packed in durable, custom-designed Tolchi boxes that safeguard against damage.
  • Packaging materials are chosen to balance premium aesthetics, product safety, and sustainability.

If your parcel appears tampered with or damaged, we recommend inspecting it in the presence of the delivery agent, documenting it with photos, and notifying us immediately. Our team will ensure a swift resolution.

5. Tracking & Notifications

The Tolchi experience doesn’t end at checkout, we keep you informed every step of the way.

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation via email and SMS containing:

  • The courier partner’s name
  • Your tracking number or AWB
  • A direct tracking link

You can also monitor your order status anytime via your Tolchi account dashboard. Please note that tracking details may take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch.

6. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

Tolchi partners only with trusted courier networks and insures all shipments to ensure your order reaches you safely. Despite this, delays or issues can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, such as weather disruptions, courier backlogs, or regional restrictions.

  • Delays: We proactively monitor shipments and notify you if a delay is expected, working with courier partners to minimize disruption.
  • Lost Shipments: In the rare event your package is confirmed lost by the courier, we will offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement at no extra cost.
  • Damaged Shipments: If your item arrives damaged, please inform us within 48 hours of delivery, along with photos of the product and packaging. We will prioritize a replacement; if unavailable, we will issue a full refund.
  • Marked “Delivered” but Not Received: If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven’t received it, we will investigate thoroughly with the courier before determining the next steps.
7. Re-Delivery & Address Corrections

Please ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate, complete, and reachable. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. However, additional shipping fees will apply for re-shipment.

If you notice an error in your address after placing the order, contact us immediately. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, we will correct it free of charge.

8. Customer Responsibilities

To help us deliver your Tolchi products seamlessly, we request customers to:

  • Provide accurate delivery information, including landmarks where required
  • Be available to receive the parcel during delivery hours
  • Respond promptly to courier or Tolchi communication regarding your shipment

If multiple delivery attempts fail due to unavailability or incorrect information, the parcel may be returned to us. In such cases, re-shipping charges will apply.

9. Grievance Redressal

All shipping-related concerns are addressed through Tolchi’s Grievance Redressal Framework.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, in line with Indian consumer protection laws.

10. International Orders (Future Scope)

Tolchi is preparing for international expansion, and once launched, this policy will be updated to cover:

  • Region-specific delivery timelines
  • Currency-based pricing and duties
  • Localized tax and customs handling
  • Returns and exchange frameworks per regional laws

Until then, international orders are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.
